At Mashatu Main Camp there is a fascinating Discovery Room, a centre for research and a place to examine the history and animals found in the area as well as a fully equipped conference room seating 48 people in boardroom style and an interesting curio shop.
Guests at Mashatu Main Camp looking for big game can spot Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Wildebeest and Zebra, Hyena, various buck species and, just as interesting, smaller animals including African Wildcat, Bat-Eared Fox and 366 species of birds.
Mashatu Main Camp have game viewing safaris daily and overnight to give guests plenty of opportunity to try different options like guided walks, horse back safaris, mountain bike safaris, and in open 4x4 vehicles at dawn / dusk or with spotlight at night.
The longer, multiple night trails and Botswana safaris or particular safaris with resident scientist in their field of interest namely the Ivory Drive, Predator Drive and the Walking Trail should be booked in advance to ensure availability.
