Escorted in an open 4x4 safari vehicle alongside a trained and experienced safari guide, safari-goers will be introduced to the diverse fauna and flora of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve. Wildlife sightings might include a glimpse of elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, hippo, crocodile and a variety of plains game.
Guided night drives can go off-road to pursue any wildlife sightings that your guide might find interesting. Quietly watch as a lion stalks its prey, and if you're lucky, the elusive leopard might make an appearance.
Follow the spoor of the wildlife on a guided walking safari or spot the smaller animals and insects as you make your way through the untamed bush. Your guide will explain some local uses, including medicinal benefits, of the flora that you come across.
Bird species that can be seen during a bird watching excursion include Meyer's Parrot, Meve's Starlings, Southern Black Tit, African Mourning Dove and African Scops-Owl.
During the summer months, Woodland Kingfisher and Levalliant's Cuckoo can be spotted, and other interesting year-round species are Pel's Fishing Owl, Secretary bird, African Hawk Eagle and the Southern Ground-Hornbill to name a few.
