Lodging at Delta Camp

Delta Camp sleeps no more than 14 guests in 7 individually designed reed chalets.

Delta Camp sleeps no more than 14 guests in 7 individually designed reed chalets all en-suite and made from natural, locally sourced materials. The rooms are built of wood and local reed, elevated off the forest floor, and into the trees.

They are spacious and very open, allowing you to feel part of the beautiful environment whilst being safe and comfortable. They are en-suite, of course, with limitless hot water, fine fabrics, a selection of books and each features the work of a local artist.

The bar and sitting room is similarly elevated and commands a spectacular view of the Boro channel and its attendant flood plains or melapo. Hippos often play in the channel, and other wildlife, particularly Elephants, are often to be seen.

The bar is open, that is to say Delta Camp do not charge extra for drinks, and has a wide range of soft drinks, beers, ciders, wine and spirits. A laundry service is available. Delta Camp utilises solar power but can usually charge video camera and other rechargeable batteries.
