
Meno A Kwena Camp offers a traditionally classic tented camp experience with wonderful views of the dry Boteti River bed, overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Meno A Kwena Camp boasts the only Boteti stone rock pool in Africa! It is situated on the cliff with views of wildlife coming to drink in front of the camp.
The view from the entire camp high up on white calcrete and silcrete cliffs, forms the centrepiece of the Meno A Kwena experience.
Adventure at Meno a Kwena begins right on your doorstep. Set out on thrilling game drives through the wild landscapes of Botswana, venture out on day trips to the vast Makgadikgadi Pans, or join the San Bushmen on guided walks that reveal ancient survival skills and stories of the desert.
For a closer connection to the wild, settle into the floating photographic hide which is a remarkable water-level lookout on the Boteti River where elephants, zebras, and antelope gather to drink just metres away. With plush seating, a well-stocked bar, and picnic treats at hand, it’s the ultimate front-row seat to Africa’s untamed theatre no vehicle required, just you and the rhythm of the wild.
Wildebeest and Zebra migration (April to November) concentrates along the Boteti River during the dry season, small pools are the only surface water that is available to them. Resident and nomadic wildlife includes the big and small cats, Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Monkeys, Jackal and occasionally Wild Dog, Elephant and Giraffe. The bird life is also excellent.
