Meno A Kwena is the name given to a deep stretch of the Boteti River once inhabited by Hippopatamus and Crocodiles in a garden of water lillies. Translated from Setswana, Meno A Kwena means Tooth of the Crocodile.

Meno A Kwena Tented Camp is ideally situated for overnight visitors and travellers on the Maun / Rakops road along the Boteti River, on the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park's western boundary.

Central Kalahari Game Reserve and Nxai Pans National Park are within 2 hours drive from Meno A Kwena Tented Camp and the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans are approximately 2 hours drive away. Meno A Kwena Tented Camp is just 90 minutes by road from Maun. Motopi airstrip is a thirty-minute drive from Meno Kwena.
