This accommodation in Makgadikgadi Pans is a traditional camp with spacious white canvas tents. There are also 2 honeymoon tents with 4 poster double beds. No triples, however bedrolls on floor can be arranged for small children. Ensuite bathrooms have hot, running water showers and flush loos. Rustic but comfortable, authentic safari furnishings include Persian rugs, mahogany writing desks, leather armchairs, copper water basins and paraffin lamps.
San Camp runs on solar-power and when darkness falls you can enjoy the romance of lanterns lighting the way. The mess tent is bright and breezy, offering a dining area and lounge are plus a library of old maps and artefacts.
