Selinda Camp
Selinda Reserve, Linyanti, Botswana

Selinda Camp is a stylish camp that rests on the banks of the Selinda Spillway, which is arguably one of the most pristine wildlife areas of Botswana. Explore the wilderness at this luxury Botswana safari camp on twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, boating and guided walks.

Why We Love it and You Will Too

  • The facilities of Selinda Camp are hard to beat. There’s a bar, an upstairs library, a wine cellar, curio shop, boma and open-air dining area.
  • Peaceful, private and relaxing, Selinda Camp blends seamlessly into its environment.
  • Dabble in early morning and late afternoon guided (off-road) game drives, bush walks, and boat excursions (when water levels permit). Don’t go forgetting about the in-room massages.
  • During seamless safari activities, you can witness plenty of Selinda “specials,” such as ellies, rare sitatunga, lion, roan antelope, African wild dog and birds-a-plenty.
  • We love that Selinda Camp is also dedicated to projects that support community upliftment, especially the Women’s Craft Groups operating in Gudigwa and Seronga.

Your Selinda Camp Experience

From the moment you set eyes on Selinda Camp, you’ll instantly know that you’ve arrived somewhere magical.

This luxury Botswana safari camp is located in the Selinda Reserve, one of the most pristine wildlife areas of Botswana. It’s where some of the most renowned wildlife filmmakers have had their cameras rolling, home to plenty of birds and animals, including the rare African wild dog which tends to den close by with their pups.

Safari activities abound at Selinda Camp, from guided game drives to interpretive bush walks and boat excursions. It’s a perfect balance, and will quickly satiate your game-viewing appetite.

As for its design, this luxury Botswana safari camp is themed to resemble a thatched village. It also captures that David Livingstone-meets-Robin Crusoe feel, effortlessly crafted from natural materials and decorated with a colonial-contemporary touch.

Our favourite area is the open-plan communal area with its sturdy leather couches. If you’re one to travel with a good book, this is just the place to settle down and open where you left off. But, don’t be surprised that within a few page turns you’ll find yourself utterly distracted by hippos and elephants manoeuvring through the watery shallows below.

Be one of the first to try out their new spa, experience their interactive show kitchen and make use of the complimentary Canon camera and Leica binoculars which come with each private suite. Selinda pulls out all the stops!
