This luxury Botswana safari camp is located in the Selinda Reserve, one of the most pristine wildlife areas of Botswana. It’s where some of the most renowned wildlife filmmakers have had their cameras rolling, home to plenty of birds and animals, including the rare African wild dog which tends to den close by with their pups.
Safari activities abound at Selinda Camp, from guided game drives to interpretive bush walks and boat excursions. It’s a perfect balance, and will quickly satiate your game-viewing appetite.
As for its design, this luxury Botswana safari camp is themed to resemble a thatched village. It also captures that David Livingstone-meets-Robin Crusoe feel, effortlessly crafted from natural materials and decorated with a colonial-contemporary touch.
Our favourite area is the open-plan communal area with its sturdy leather couches. If you’re one to travel with a good book, this is just the place to settle down and open where you left off. But, don’t be surprised that within a few page turns you’ll find yourself utterly distracted by hippos and elephants manoeuvring through the watery shallows below.
