At Pom Pom Camp, you are surrounded by the sinuous waterways of the Okavango wetlands in a private concession. Game viewing is exclusive and birdlife is prolific, so your Botswana safari will be filled with the exciting things to see and do.
Morning and evening game drives are led by professional guides in a private paradise where you'll see the Big Game and nocturnal creatures of this area such as Elephant, Leopard and Lion. In a mokoro (dug-out canoe) with your experienced poler guide, you can explore the maze of waterways at leisure, taking in sights of lily covered lagoons and wildlife both big and small.
If you want to drop a line, then your Pom Pom guide can take you to a few secret spots where Pike and various Bream species will keep you busy. If you really want to experience the bush in a unique way, then a guided bush walk is just ideal. It offers an intimate introduction to the wilderness and all its tiny miracles.
Back at camp, there is a comfy lounge and dining area with lovely open views, a gift shop and a pool next to the bar. Before and after dinner you can relax in the boma (circular enclosure) beside the water, while a central fire adds warmth and atmosphere and the starry Okavango night skies glow overhead.
Children 8 years and older may stay at Pom Pom Camp. There is a compulsory allocation of a private safari vehicle for families with children between 8 and 12 years.
