From the outside, the accommodation at Kanana may look like simple tents, but from the inside, they feel more like a 5-star hotel room. Immaculate wooden furnishings, hardwood floors and crisp white linen await you.
The tents are crafted from canvas and thatch; each unit is incredibly spacious with attached en-suite bathrooms with showers. They are also well-spaced apart to ensure your absolute privacy. You can walk out onto your private deck any time of the day and feel like you're the only one there. While the rooms do not have Wi-Fi (which is a bonus if you want a true digital detox), there is a connected computer back at the reception area.
A family suite is available at Kanana Camp, as well as the option of spending the night at the designated sleep-out. For your safety, the camp is surrounded by a fence to keep the larger animals out. However, the smaller ones can still enter the area, and it's not uncommon to encounter a baby elephant on the way to your room after dinner. Guides and camp staff are also on hand to make sure that guests move about safely after sundown, escorting you as required.
