Situated in the heart of Botswana's Okavango Delta, adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve, Kanana Camp is perfectly set on the Xudum River. The camp itself is quite small and intimate. This Okavango Delta Camp is set amidst a riverine forest overlooking a patch of land that floods during the high season. It still carries water in low season which attracts a regular stream of impala, red lechwes, baboons and large tuskers.
The most common route is to fly in from Maun, which takes only 25 minutes, and this is where your game viewing will begin. The view of the Delta from the sky is breathtakingly beautiful and is one of the most memorable moments for many African safari-goers entering this game-rich region. Once you arrive at the airstrip (the anticipation at an all-time high), you'll be transferred by road with a guide who will quickly point out plenty more animals as you make your way to camp.
