Geting to Eagle Island Lodge, Chiefs Island, Okavango Delta

Eagle Island Lodge is situated on Chiefs Island, in the Okavango Delta, under a canopy of indigenous trees.

Eagle Island Lodge at Xaxaba is a water based camp situated in the Central Okavango Delta. A canopy of indigenous trees, a cool retreat from the African sun, shades the camp. This is one of the Delta's most pristine natural locations - a myriad of waterways, palm-treed islands and vast African safari flood plains.

Situated on Chief's Island, Eagle Island consists of 12 reed-built twin-bedded chalets, with en-suite facilities. It has a plunge pool and 2 bars, one of which is beautifully located overlooking the Delta. Eagle Island Lodge at Xaxaba is ideal for bird watching and trips through this fascinating water world are available by motorboat or mokoro.
