Central Botswana is the largest of Botswana’s districts in terms of area and population. There are several seasonal rivers in the district of which the Lepashe River and the Boteti River flows in the rainy season to reach the Makgadikgadi Pans. The Lepashe river ends in the Sua Pan.In the Central District of Botswana there are problems between the protection of indigenous wildlife and agricultural expansion.
